The three (3') H x five (5') W foot Betsy Ross Flag is an early design of the United States flag by upholsterer and flag maker Betsy Ross of Philadelphia. The pattern of the Betsy Ross flag is thirteen (13) alternating red (7) and white (6) stripes with it's distinguishing feature thirteen (13) five (5) pointed stars arranged in a circle on a blue background representing the thirteen (13) colonies that fought for independence during the American Revolutionary War.
