One of America's summer playgrounds is featured in this Coney Island Jigsaw Puzzle from Dowdle.  Located in Brooklyn, by the mid 1800s Coney Island had become a seaside resort and by the late 1800s amusement parks had also been built.  These attractions reached a historical peak during the first half of the 1900s, but declined in popularity after World War II and following years of neglect, several structures were torn down.

The area was revitalized with the opening of MCU Park, a minor league baseball stadium on the Riegelmann (aka Coney island) Boardwalk, in 2001 along with several amusement rides starting in the 2010s.  Coney Island is a lifetime experience for any American and today millions flock here every summer to sightsee popular attractions like the beach, boardwalk, Coney Island Cyclone roller coaster, Mermaid Parade, Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating contest every July 4th (in 2020 Joey Chestnut broke his own record with 75 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes), Wonder Wheel, etc.! 

500 pieces and completed the puzzle is 16" W x 20" L.
